Making Time in the Real World

So as my alarms (because let’s be honest it took more than one) went off this morning at 3:50… I was sooo tempted to re-set it for 5:00am when I actually have to get up

So as my alarms (because let’s be honest it took more than one) went off this morning at 3:50… I was sooo tempted to re-set it for 5:00am when I actually have to get up to be at work on time! But that is where it is time to put my big girl pants on and kick my own ass out of bed!!

Setting goals and making time for ourselves is not always easy, or glamorous or even fun to start! But you know what?! I will be a better version of myself today because I woke up and made time for a workout before I go to work! I will have more patience for everyone and every obstacle I come across (including fits from my 4 year old).

That is why it is important to make clear goals for yourself and to set your schedule for the week! Don’t ho hum around it, set aside a time of day you know you have free and schedule time for you and your goals, fitness or otherwise! If you want a cleaner house schedule a time, set a timer for 20 minutes and pick a problem area of your house! Make a commitment to work the entire 20 minutes, if you aren’t feeling it at the end, be done! But sometimes you get In a rhythm, if the stars align, your kiddo let’s you work, and you finish the project!

So set some goals, schedule time for them and make it happen! You’ve got this!
